Terms of service
Last updated: 26 October 2026
By using whatsonthemenueats.com you agree to these terms. They're written in plain English and make clear what the site is, and isn't, responsible for.
What this site is
What's On The Menu Eats is a free guide to African restaurants across the UK. We don't sell food, take bookings or handle payments.
Restaurant information
We check details carefully, including Google ratings, opening hours, addresses, prices, nearest stations and walking times. But restaurants change things without notice, and walking times are estimates. Always check with the restaurant before you travel.
Allergies and dietary needs
Dietary labels are shown only when a restaurant has confirmed them, but recipes and kitchens change. If you have an allergy, always check with the restaurant before you order.
Bookings and other websites
Book a table, Website, Directions and social media links take you to other websites, such as OpenTable, Dojo and Google Maps. Bookings, payments, changes and cancellations are between you and the restaurant or that platform, under their terms. We don't control those websites and aren't responsible for them.
Ratings and reviews
Star ratings and review counts come from Google. Our own reviews are honest opinions based on our visits. A restaurant being listed is not a guarantee of its food, service or prices.
If you send us something
When you send a review or feedback, you confirm it's your own honest opinion, isn't offensive or unlawful, and doesn't include anyone else's personal details. We may edit it or choose not to publish it. By sending it, you allow us to use it on the site.
Our content
The text, photos, design and selection of restaurants on this site belong to What's On The Menu Eats or are used with permission. You're welcome to share links, but please don't copy our content without asking. Restaurant names and logos belong to their owners.
Our responsibility
We provide this site free of charge and as it is. We aren't responsible for a restaurant's food, service or prices, or for losses caused by information that has changed. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law, or any liability that can't legally be limited.
Changes and the law
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
